Meet

Aric Congdon

Aric C. studied cosmetology in the greater new york area, and currently is a traveling hairdresser who splits his time in Los Angeles, San Francisco Bay and Downtown Manhattan. Aric’s career comes from a NYC background under stylists from Frédérick Fekkai and Warren Tricomi and continued his education and hair career in the West Village as a Curly Hair Specialist.

He remains at the forefront of hair trends and quality. Aric is a Brand Ambassador for The Wet Brush and Brand Enthusiast of Olaplex, aside from being a Master Colorist, frequent artist for NYFW runway and a regular on set for music videos and entertainment alike. A few of the client who Aric has worked with are Post Malone, Ludacris, Miss J, Nigel Barker and Lana Del Rey.

His education includes seminars with Bumble & Bumble, Wella, Davines, Loreal Balayage, Goldwell Master Colorist Cert., Ouidad, Alex Anthony, Kadus, Balay Powder, Lanza, Oligo, Alfaparf, Pulp Riot, Elgon, Guy Tang, oribe, Eleven Australia, Affinage, Pravana, Biolage, Kenra, Joico, Schwarzkopf and Olaplex.

Aric is a bicoastal celebrity colorist who has been featured in New York Weekly, NBC, Kivo Daily, Ladygunn Magazine, Elle Magazine, and Vogue and 203+ other publications. Aric Splits his time between Laurel Heights San Francisco, Hermosa Beach Pier, Murray Hill and Soho. Aric has worked with many Celebrity Hairdressers/Salons who include, but are not limited to talent from: Frederick Fekkai, Warren Tricomi, Jorge Luis, Ouidad and The Curl Suite.

He knows that each person's hair is different and takes the time to discuss your hair and what you want to do with it with you as well as giving his knowledge in a friendly and laid back way I cannot recommend him enough.   From the second you walk in the door you're greeted with a smile and a happy vibe.  The friendly staff never make you feel like you're not 'their kind' of clientele like some other types of salons.

I highly recommend Aric to anyone who wants a beautiful cut and style.  He's friendly and easy to talk to.  And when you walk out you're the one that will greet the world with a smile and a happy vibe.

  Curly girls look no further! I have been getting my hair cut with Aric for just about 2 years. He does an amazing job shaping my hair. Not only does he leave my hair looking great but it grows out great! Ive also had my hair colored by him. He pays so much attention to detail.
