Aric went to the West Coast from Manhattan 4 years ago and started expanding his clientele on the west side of Los Angeles at Ouidad (Chelsea Santa Monica) and Ultralux Salon and today at Fringe Santa Monica. Upon being introduced into the entertainment industry, he started doing hair for music videos and commercials for clients throughout LA. Aric is currently based in Redondo Beach and doing pop-ups in salons in Beverly Hills, Marina del Rey, and Culver City to accommodate clients in LA Proper.

I found Aric because i was looking for an Olaplex salon just because i bleach my hair every 4 weeks and needed the extra insurance that the product gives me. I honestly was blown away by his knowledge, i had never had a hairdresser speak to me about the chemical structure of the hair and what certain products do. Most people just pass me a product and say use this it will make your hair feel better, your typical sales speech. I felt extremely comfortable in his chair and didn’t feel like he was selling me but educating me. I will never go anywhere else hands down one of the best salons in Los Angeles.

I had tried again and again looking for a yelp hair salon and was going to just give up. I decided to book with Aric after stalking his instagram, because it was a baliage hair salon. La hair is no game, its entirely hit or miss. I am very thankful i stuck out all the bad experiences i had and found Aric, because he gave me such a low maintenance beautiful balayage. It said that he was a celebrity salon online so i kind of presumed his prices would be up there, but it was more than worth it. Previously I had gotten my haircut in South Bay LA so i was very glad to find a hairdresser near me. 5 stars hair salon for sure and worth every penny.

I wanted to wait a little while to leave this review to ensure it was honest and I had some time to sit on it. I have been wanting to get my hair done for about three years now and I have just been searching and searching for the right person to do it. I have curly hair that has been damaged before because the stylist didn’t know how to handle my hair type so i was looking for a curly hair salon. I was determined to find a curly hair specialist. Praise the lord that I found Aric!! He has been AMAZING. Not only did he listen to all of my concerns but he continually answered all of my questions no matter how annoying they were haha. Then when we finally met he was so nice and personable. He kept me entertained the entire day we were together. He explained everything happening to me in detail so that I knew exactly what was going on at each step. Not to mention my hair looks PHENOMENAL. I couldn’t be happier. He gave me so many awesome tips and tricks to take care of my hair and he told me the right products to use to keep it looking the best it can. I would recommend Aric to anyone, best haircut Los Angeles. If I could give him 10 stars I would. If you have wanted a sign to go to him, this is it!! You won’t regret it.

I was a little hesitant on trying a new hairdresser and salon but since it was Hermosa Beach, a hair salon near me and not downtown, why not?! Had the best experience with ARIC! LOVE how he transformed my overall appearance and gave me the confidence boost that I’ve been needing. Being a busy mom of 2 little ones, I’ve neglected my hair for almost a year. The fact that I didn’t give him a firm answer and couldn’t spill out the vision I had in my head, he carefully listened and concocted a masterpiece! It was like he was in my head! He was so easy to talk to that it felt like I was talking to one of my close friends. Super Happy to have found him!! Fell like i have famous hair after leaving the shop. The salon is cute and clean. The staff are friendly. The only downside to the salon is that they only have two sinks. So, if you go in on a busy day, you might have to wait a bit for an available sink. Still, it’s a BIG recommendation! BOOK WITH ARIC!!! He’s a visionary and a perfectionist. He will make you FANTABULOUS!!!
